Configuring WordPress 3.0 for Multisite Mode and Running Multiple Domains

WordPress 3.0 multisites lets you easily publish multiple sites, on multiple domains, within one installation. Once done you will have a very flexible and powerful server.

This small tutorial explains the process without using plugins, however, you can simplify some parts by using a domain manager plugin (eg, from Donncha or WPMUGuru) - however, there can be times when setting up Apache is the optimal approach.
