Today, I re-launched WpVote since one week. We have +/- 100 stories and +/- 70 members. That's not bad at all for a "new" site. Several of my blog posts were featured on WpVote frontpage and I have experienced a decent traffic from it.
Though, I have the feeling that together, we can push WpVote really more far than that.
How? By promoting it.
Why? Because every user will benefit from it.
The fact is, even if WpVote belongs to me, the more users/ readers/ visitors the site has, the more traffic you'll get to your blog. This is why I'm asking you to help me promoting it for the benefit of us all.
How can you promote WpVote? That's easy. Tweet about it, write a blog post (Btw there's a contest up over at Cats Who Code to win premium themes by blogging about WpVote!), put a link on your blogroll, and also, submit your blog posts and vote for the ones you find interresting.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Great idea there - fantastic WordPress content is scattered around the web, sometimes floating lost and unloved. About time the best could be promoted - well done!
PS - my point there, in that effusive but barely finished comment, was that I will indeed be promoting the site. Makes sense, as you say.
I'm wondering if badges aren't a good idea. You could create a handful of various styles with code for website sidebars, add a page devoted to them and voila. Links back & support.
